3 ½ Minutes, Ten Bullets [Movie Review]

Summary

3 ½ Minutes, Ten Bullets is a 2015 Sundance-winning documentary that tells the story of the shooting death of Jordan Davis in Jacksonville, Florida. To be more precise, the documentary dives into the events leading up to the murder of Jordan Davis and the resulting trial of Michael Dunn. As is to be expected with these types of documentaries, we get a bit of background on Davis from his parents and friends as they look back over his life. But what really sets this documentary apart from others is its exploration of how Dunn attempted to manipulate the events leading up to the shooting to take advantage of Florida’s controversial Stand Your Ground law.
